THE PREDICTION
Although Sussex got off to a losing start in Division Two after a third innings collapse led to them being beaten by ten wickets at the hands of Nottinghamshire, they head to Derby with a huge injection of batting firepower. Whilst Daniel Ibrahim was injured in their opening match and will likely miss out here, the visitors are expected to welcome overseas stars in India’s Cheteshwar Pujara and Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan into their side. Derbyshire are on the back of a hard-fought draw away at Middlesex and already looked to have benefit from an injection of mental steel provided by the guidance of Mickey Arthur. However, Sussex look set to field a significantly stronger XI than they did last time out and it would be no surprise if this sees them go on to claim victory at The Incora County Ground.
