Derbyshire remain unbeaten after three games, largely due to the brilliance of Shan Masood, who has racked up 611 runs this season so far including consecutive double centuries, a feat never achieved before by a Derbyshire batter. Glamorgan are coming off the back of defeat against Middlesex in which they showed the cracks in the batting line-up that people feared would cost him should Marnus Labuschagne be dismissed for little runs. Confidence among the Derbyshire camp is likely to be sky high and provided they (and Masood in particular) can maintain their recent batting form then the hosts have to be favoured to win this one.
