THE PREDICTION

Barbados Royals have endured a nightmare CPL campaign so far, losing five of their six games played and currently sit bottom of the table with just two points. Guyana Amazon Warriors have six points to their name after an inconsistent tournament that has seen them win three and lose three. However, they thrashed the Royals this past Saturday by nine wickets after bowling them out for just 130, before reaching their 131-run target with 5.4 overs remaining.

Confidence within the camp of Barbados Royals will be at a low with spirits now doubt severely dented following such a demoralising defeat last time out. Guyana were totally superior to them in all aspects of play and provided that Nicholas Pooran’s side show no signs of complacency here, then any result other than a second successive Guyana Amazon Warriors victory would be a big surprise.
