Trinbago Knight Riders continued their superb start to the CPL as they maintained their perfect record with a fifth consecutive victory. They defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by seven wickets as a solid all-round batting effort backed up Khary Pierre’s three wickets with the ball. They now take on a Barbados Tridents outfit that won for just the second time in the competition as they overcame Jamaica Tallawahs by 36 runs in a one-sided success and although they will be confident on the back of that, it is difficult to see the Knight Riders’ 100% start ending in this contest.
