THE PREDICTION
This is set to be a tight contest with both sides missing key players. The absence of Vince in particular is a huge blow for Hampshire who will be relying heavily on Sam Northeast for runs. Sussex look strong on paper with bowler Ollie Robinson in particular looking to make a case for future England selection. There is little to choose between the two sides and a draw looks likely here, especially if rain disrupts the third day’s play as forecasted.
