- Perth Scorchers will be hoping for the same result against Brisbane which they managed at Optus Stadium this past Saturday as the two sides rematch at the Gabba.
- The Scorchers have lost some top order firepower through the departure of Faf du Plessis and Adam Lyth, but will regain the services of Ashton Agar following his Test match commitments.

Whilst this is a tough assignment for Brisbane Heat, the availability of both Khawaja and Labuschagne really helps them on the batting side and the latter also offers a handy spin-bowling option.
