GEMCON KHULNA
- Gemcon Khulna are arguably the form team in the competition right now having won their last three matches and all three of those victories against Dhaka, Barishal and Rajshahi have been with relative ease.

- After dominating their opening four games of the tournament, Chattogram’s impressive form came to a halt at the hands an average Dhaka side last time out where they fell short of their opponents’ relatively par total of 145/4 by seven runs.
- Liton Das was in the runs once again with 47, but Soumya Sarkar was out for a duck and that exposed the under-cooked middle order that has not spent much time at the crease and it showed in that game.
- They are unlikely to make any kneejerk reactions for this game but they will want to respond especially against a rival like Khulna who are tipped to challenge them for the title and are playing good cricket right now.
THE PREDICTION
There two teams have arguably been the best two outfits in the tournament so far but it was an incredibly one-sided affair in the last game between them as Chattogram romped to a nine-wicket win. The defeat to Dhaka last time out for Chattogram may serve as something of a wake-up call for them as complacency appeared to creep into their performance. They will be confident against Khulna but they will expect a much sterner test than the last time they met. More of Khulna’s star men are in much-improved form now and they will be fired up to show they can match Chattogram. Form is with Khulna, but we are leaning towards Chattogram bouncing back here and getting back to winning ways.
