Once again, South Africa’s weak batting line-up ended up their undoing in the second Test as they were hammered by Australia, who bowled them out for 189 and 204 respectively, racking up a score of 575/8 in-between those two innings. In Sydney, the expectation is that the ball could prove more susceptible to spin, which brings Nathan Lyon into the game for the hosts. With that in mind, South Africa could field two spinners and play Simon Harmer alongside Keshav Maharaj.
