Afghanistan have made a fantastic start to the Asia Cup, sending a message to all of their competition with a thumping eight-wicket win over Sri Lanka, which saw their bowlers brilliantly shackle the opposition, bowling them out for just 105 before the batters guided Afghanistan to their victory target in just 10.1 overs. The expectation is that the bowling attack of Afghanistan will be afforded more joy against a Bangladesh side who have been significantly misfiring in T20 cricket recently, losing a series against Zimbabwe just under a month ago. Although the likes of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim being back available for selection should see them improve and push Afghanistan harder than Sri Lanka did, Mohammad Nabi’s men still have to be favoured for victory.
