Division One
Essex vs Lancashire – 10:30am BST
Gloucestershire vs Warwickshire – 10:30am BST
Hampshire vs Kent – 10:30am BST
Somerset vs Northamptonshire – 10:30am BST
Surrey vs Yorkshire – 10:30am BST
Division Two
Durham vs Sussex – 10:30am BST
Glamorgan vs Derbyshire – 10:30am BST
Leicestershire vs Middlesex – 10:30am BST
Worcestershire vs Nottinghamshire – 10:30am BST
Hampshire vs Kent – 10:30am BST
Hampshire currently sit just eight points behind Surrey at the top of Division One with just two rounds of games to go. They are undefeated at the Ageas Bowl, where they welcome a Kent side who have lost their last two County Championship fixtures. The visitors are plagued with injuries and Hampshire should be able to take full advantage here. Expect the hosts with their outstanding bowling attack to comfortably emerge victorious.
Prediction: Hampshire to win
Surrey vs Yorkshire – 10:30am BST
Division One leaders Surrey come into this game knowing that a comprehensive victory would see them enter the final round of County Championship fixtures top of the table and with their title hopes firmly in their own hands. Yorkshire were beaten last time out against Essex and whilst their bowling attack could cause Surrey problems, this is an inexperienced ‘White Rose’ team whose batting in particular will be severely depleted. Surrey, with home advantage in their favour should be able to outscore Yorkshire comfortably and end up winning this one.
Prediction: Surrey to win
Leicestershire vs Middlesex – 10:30am BST
Bottom of the table Leicestershire fell to a third consecutive County Championship defeat against Durham in their most recent game and are all but certain to finish bottom of Division Two. Middlesex meanwhile, are coming off the back of a crucial win vs Glamorgan which has lifted them back into the automatic promotion places and confidence must be sky-high among their camp. Any outcome here other than a Middlesex victory would be considered a huge shock.
Prediction: Middlesex to win
