THE PREDICTION
The defending champions Maratha Arabians have struggled in their title defence as they come off a fourth consecutive defeat on Wednesday and they have started to experiment with their side and give some local youngsters more opportunities. That does not bode well for their hopes in this final group game against the Deccan Gladiators. Their opponents have lost their last three games themselves but they competed well against the Northern Warriors last time out and will want to sign off in style. Skipper Kieron Pollard has found this tournament incredibly frustrating but it would be no surprise if he found form in this final game along with some of his big-hitting colleagues. It is the Gladiators who have the clear edge in quality and while motivation in both teams is questionable, the preference goes with them on overall talent.
