THE PREDICTION
Despite being expected to prop up the Group 2 table, Leicestershire have made an admirable fist of their County Championship campaign this season and will be hoping to finish on a high against Middlesex. The hosts have not had the season they would have wanted in red ball cricket, with the batters letting them down in the main. Overseas star Peter Handscomb in particular has disappointed with the willow and it is the form of the respective overseas players that could be the difference between these two sides. Marcus Harris has proven an excellent pickup for Leicestershire with his batting leading them to a couple of victories and alongside fellow Australian Josh Inglis, such quality should see Leicestershire overwhelm a Middlesex side struggling on confidence and lead the Foxes to victory.
