THE PREDICTION
Southern Punjab have endured a nightmare start to the National T20 Cup so far, losing both of their first two matches, including most recently being bowled out for just 101 against Balochistan with that target being chased down in 17.2 overs. Northern meanwhile, failed to back up their victory over Balochistan on the opening day of the tournament as they were beaten last time out by Sindh. However, Northern’s bowling attack does look among the best in the competition with Sohail Tanvir, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf and captain Shadab Khan providing plenty of past and present international experience with the ball. Such bowling prowess is expected to overwhelm a fragile Southern Punjab batting unit and lead Northern to victory here.
