THE PREDICTION
Of the four matches played by each of these two sides so far, Southern Punjab do not have a single victory to their name, whereas Balochistan have just one and are coming off the back of being bowled out for just 98 against Sindh, losing by a whopping 77 runs. However, Balochistan’s only triumph came against Southern Punjab by a comfortable seven wicket margin and Imam-ul-Haq’s side will be hopeful of coming out on top once again. Southern Punjab though, are coming off the back of scoring 175 runs albeit in a losing effort against Northern and such a score will have given their batters confidence heading into this one. The Southern Punjab bowlers are more than capable of making life difficult for the Balochistan top order and provided that players such as Zeeshan Ashraf and T20 international player Azam Khan can step up and support captain Shoaib Maqsood with the bat, then Southern Punjab may just do enough to overcome Balochistan and secure their first win of the competition.
