Brisbane Heat were unable to build on their opening day win in defence of their WBBL crown as their clash with Melbourne Renegades was a washout. They will hope to get back on the field to take on a Hobart Hurricanes outfit that also had their second game abandoned when they were due to take on Perth Scorchers. They were heavily beaten by Adelaide Strikers in their opening match and will need to be better with both bat and ball if they are to push the Heat close.
