THE PREDICTION
Adelaide Strikers fell agonisingly short in their quest to lift the Women’s Big Bash League title as they were beaten by Brisbane Heat in last year’s final. They will hope to go one better this time around but they will be without Sophie Devine who has moved on to Perth Scorchers. Laura Wolvaardt is tasked with filling her shoes and she will have a big role to play along with compatriot Marizanne Kapp. Hobart Hurricanes on the other hand endured a poor campaign in 2019 with just four wins to their name and they have to make huge improvements to break into the top four. The Hurricanes have lost some star quality in Heather Knight and with the Strikers still looking very strong, it is the Adelaide side that should take the win here.
