THE PREDICTION

These two teams have enjoyed mixed starts to their Marsh Cup campaigns as Queensland have won both of their completed games so far while South Australia have lost all three of their matches. Their Sheffield Shield was completely washed out but both teams will be desperate to get out in the middle for some action and it looks like the weather will be good enough to see the game played. Despite their poor campaign so far, South Australia have plenty of quality in their ranks with skipper Travis Head supported by Alex Carey, Callum Ferguson, Jake Weatherald, Wes Agar and Cameron Valente. It is the Queenslanders however who have the greater depth to their team. Led by Usman Khawaja, they have a wealth of experience and quality throughout in both the batting and bowling departments. They have to be favoured on home turf to get the win so the prediction goes to Queensland Bulls here.
