Corentin Moutet vs Taylor Fritz prediction

Corentin Moutet’s grass court season began in Stuttgart last week. He got off to a winning start, defeating Fabio Fognini in a bad tempered first-round match but he would lose to world number three Alexander Zverev in the next round. He did push Zverev all the way in the second set tiebreak, even earning himself a set point to force a decider, but the German wrestled back control.

He has his work cut out in round one as he faces the winner of that event in Taylor Fritz. Fritz looked back to his best in Stuttgart, winning the title without dropping a set and picking up yet another victory against Zverev in the final. He now has four titles on grass in his career and will be one of the favourites at Queen’s this week.

Moutet qualified for this event but we don’t think he’ll cause Fritz too many problems after he picked up his first title of the season.
