Tournament favourites Australia march into the semi-finals following a flawless group stage campaign results wise, with three wins from three including most recently beating Pakistan by a comprehensive 44 runs. New Zealand made it through by virtue of winning two of their three group fixtures, but are coming off the back of a thumping defeat by England. New Zealand’s biggest weakest is clearly the depth of their batting and they came back to bite them against a strong bowling attack as they were restricted to just 71/9.
