Coleman Wong made an impressive start in Hangzhou by beating home favourite Zhang Zhizhen in straight sets. Wong controlled the match behind his serve, firing 10 aces and winning 80% of his first serve points on his way to winning 6-3 6-3. He now takes on Adolfo Daniel Vallejo. The Paraguayan had a much tougher opener but overcame Cui Jie in three sets.
