Clara Tauson vs Magda Linette prediction

Clara Tauson will be a seed under potential threat when she locks horns with Magda Linette.

The Dane has managed just two wins on clay this year and has lost her last two matches on the surface.

The 22nd seed comes up against world number 33 Linette who has won three of her last five on the dirt and arrives in Paris on the back of a run to the last eight in Strasbourg. 

There is no previous head-to-head between the two but Linette has the edge in terms of longevity and experience.

If Tauson recaptures some of early season form from hard courts she should have the edge, but her dip of late makes this tougher to call.
