Caty McNally vs Solana Sierra prediction

Caty McNally picked up a fine win in round one as she came from a set down to beat Emma Navarro in a match which was played over two days. McNally went behind but turned the match on its head with a dominant second set. The decider saw seven consecutive breaks of serve, but McNally managed to get the job done to win 4-6 6-0 6-4.

She will face Solana Sierra next. The Argentine beat 2025 Roland Garros semi-finalist Lois Boisson in three sets. Sierra, who reached the round-of-16 at Wimbledon last year, fought back from 5-2 down in the second set, but was broken once more in the 12th game as Boisson forced a decider. Sierra raised her game to win 6-4 5-7 6-3.

Both of these players are evenly matched, with just three places separating the two in the world rankings, and there could be momentum swings in this one.
