Caty McNally vs McCartney Kessler prediction

Caty McNally got off to a positive start in her opening match by easing to a 6-2 6-3 win over Maddison Inglis in the first round.

The 23-year-old was in pretty good form in Montreal last week winning a couple of matches before eventually losing to sixth-seed Madison Keys so she is in good spirits right now.

McNally takes on McCartney Kessler in the second round this will be a tough test for her in Cincinnati.

Kessler was flying in Montreal having won the doubles and she produced one of the shocks of the tournament in the singles as she stunned 18-year-old starlet Mirra Andreeva.

It will be interesting to see what condition she comes into this match in after a busy week last week. The is the marginal favourite and we can understand why with the momentum she has. Based on recent form, we have to back her to win here too.
