McNally defeated Alycia Parks and Rebecca Sramkova before going out after a loss to Madison Keys, despite taking the first set against the Australian Open champion. McNally will hope to continue her momentum with a deep run in Cincinnati.
She faces Maddison Inglis in the first-round. Inglis came from a set down in both of her qualifying rounds to enter the main draw. The world number 157 had failed to get out of the same stage in Montreal a week earlier.
