Castleford Tigers Team News: No changes made

Castleford Tigers have not made any changes to their squad, although Fletcher Rooney once again may not be ready to make his return for the hosts after not featuring against Wigan Warriors despite being named in the squad.

Huddersfield Giants Team News: Key pair return

Huddersfield Giants welcome back both Adam Swift and Oliver Wilson, which immediately makes them significantly better when taking into account the quality of those two. Sam Hewitt however, misses out.

Squad: Jacob Gagai, Adam Swift, Jake Bibby, Sam Halsall, Tui Lolohea, Oliver Wilson, Zac Woolford, Thomas Burgess, Harry Rushton, Ashton Golding, Matty English, George King, Joe Greenwood, Fenton Rogers, Leroy Cudjoe, Tristan Powell, Taane Milne, Kieran Rush, George Flanagan, Jack Bibby, Matt Frawley

Castleford Tigers vs Huddersfield Giants Prediction

We should see a much-improved showing from Huddersfield Giants compared to what we saw in Perpignan last time out as they were ‘nilled’ by Catalans Dragons. With Swift and Wilson back in the fold, the Giants immediately look stronger and against a side who’ve lost four of their last five games, they have every reason to be confident of success here.

Castleford Tigers though, did look a lot better against the formidable Warriors, but with the onus on them to take the fight to Huddersfield at home, pressure could be a factor with a bad start likely causing restlessness among the crowd. The Giants showed vs Warrington Wolves that they can perform on the road and backing them to beat the Tigers should be seriously considered.
