Carlos Alcaraz will aim to clinch yet another title when he takes on Taylor Fritz in the 2025 Japan Open final.

The Spaniard came from behind to edge out Casper Ruud 3-6 6-3 6-4 and reach his 10th final of the year.

The world number one will now take on second seed Fritz after the American eased past his compatriot Jenson Brooksby by a 6-4 6-3 scoreline.

Alcaraz leads the head-to-head 3-1 but did lose 6-3 6-2 to the world number five in the Laver Cup just last week.

A new title and revenge will be high on the six-time major winner’s agenda here and we expect him to bring his A-game with a trophy on the line.
