Carlos Alcaraz vs Jiri Lehecka prediction
Carlos Alcaraz made it through to his second Queen’s Club final after defeating Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets in his semi-final match. The Spaniard did not lose serve as he wrapped up a 6-4 6-4 victory. He extended his winning streak to 17 matches and is now in his fifth final in a row. He is aiming to become the second Spaniard to win this event on multiple occasions after Feliciano Lopez in 2017 and 2019.
He will go up against Jiri Lehecka after he defeated home favourite Jack Draper in three sets. The Czech player earned a late break towards the end of the match to win 6-4 4-6 7-5. He’s had a very strong tournament so far and only given up one set on his way to the final.
They’ve played against each other twice before and the head-to-head is 1-1. Alcaraz won the first match, which took place at this very event in the second-round two years ago. The Spaniard won 6-2 6-3 on his way to his first title here. Nevertheless, Lehecka did win their encounter earlier this year in Doha to draw level.
Lehecka has enjoyed a brilliant tournament so far but it’s hard to look beyond Alcaraz for this one, with the Spaniard on such an impressive run in terms of wins. He was pushed all the way by Jaume Munar in the second-round but his two recent matches have been far more straight-forward and he is likely to win this one in straight sets.
Carlos Alcaraz vs Jiri Lehecka tip: Carlos Alcaraz to win 2-0
