Carlos Alcaraz mastered the windy conditions to take down Arthur Fils in straight sets and advance to his third Barcelona Open final. He beat the Frenchman 6-2 6-4, saving just one break point during the 74-minute clash. He nullified the hard-hitting of Fils from the back of the court while also targeting his backhand and applying some variation throughout the contest.
Holger Rune is the man that stands in Alcaraz’s way of a hat-trick of titles in Barcelona. He produced another phenomenal display to beat Karen Khachanov 6-2 6-3.
