Camila Osorio vs Simona Waltert prediction
Camila Osorio, a three-time WTA Tour winner, heads into this one on the back of a defeat to Alja Tomljanovic in qualification for the Eastbourne Open last week. The Colombian had made it through to the third round of the French Open with some strong performances last month.
Simona Waltert hasn’t ever made it past the first round of Wimbledon but the 25-year-old will hope to do so this time. Waltert has only won just one of her last six matches, against Tamara Kostovic in the first round of the Makarska WTA Challenger.
Waltert had started her year quite well and enjoyed some positive performances on clay but the has regressed and Osorio is now firm favourite to make the second round.
