Cameron Norrie vs Sebastian Korda prediction
Cameron Norrie’s hard court swing has been average at best, especially when compared to his run at Wimbledon where he made the quarter-finals. He did pick up a scalp early on as he beat Lorenzo Musetti in Washington, but he was then defeated by Brandon Nakashima in round three. He has failed to pick up a victory since, as he lost early on in Toronto and Cincinnati.
Sebastian Korda flourished on his return to the tour in Winston-Salem, winning all three of his matches to reach the last four. Korda decided to withdraw from the tournament before his match with Marton Fucsovics, citing illness, but he will be raring to go at his home slam after being out for nearly three months with a shin injury.
Korda leads the head-to-head 3-1 and 2-1 on hard courts. He also won the last meeting between the pair two years ago at Queen’s Club. If the American is aggressive from the start and prevents Norrie from settling into long rallies, he will be well-placed to come out on top.
