Cameron Norrie vs Alejandro Davidovich Fokina prediction

Cameron Norrie will be seeking to end a four-match losing run when he begins his Queen’s Club campaign. The British number one was forced to retire from his first-round match at the French Open as a result of a rib injury, but he is back and raring to go. Norrie has a fine record at this event, having reached the final in 2021. Furthermore, he impressed on grass last season, making it all the way to the last eight at Wimbledon before a straight sets defeat to Carlos Alcaraz.

His first-round opponent is Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The Spaniard competed in Stuttgart last week, but lost his opening match to Mattia Bellucci in three sets. This was Davidovich Fokina’s second defeat to Bellucci this season. He’s not in great form at all, having lost four of his last six matches.

He does lead the head-to-head 2-0, but these two have not faced each other since 2021. This is an ideal opportunity for Norrie to find some form again, especially in front of a home crowd.
