Brisbane Broncos vs Gold Coast Titans prediction

Suncorp Stadium hosts the South-East Queensland derby as the Brisbane Broncos take on the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday.

The Brisbane Broncos (11th) suffered a heavy 34-6 loss to the Manly Sea Eagles in Round 13. Their recent form has been dismal with six losses from their past seven matches. Only a win over the table topping Bulldogs has stopped a seven match slide.

The Gold Coast Titans (17th) are in a similar funk as they went down 28-16 to the Melbourne Storm in Round 13. They have only one win in five and their fate for season 2025 looks sealed already.

Adam Reynolds is set to make his 300th NRL appearance. Reynolds is the second-highest point scorer in NRL history and has accumulated 94 points (3 tries, 40 goals) in a disappointing season to date.

Phillip Sami has been a consistent performer for the Titans, leading their try-scoring tally with 8 tries this season. Last season’s try scoring machine Alofi Khan-Pereira is yet to find his form after a long absence through injury.

The Titans defeated the Broncos in both their matches in 2024 (46-18 in R22 and 36-34 in R12). This marked the first time the Titans had achieved this feat. The Broncos have dominated the overall rivalry, leading 25-13.

This Local Derby offers plenty to play for. Both clubs are desperate for a win to kick-start their campaign.
