Brandon Nakashima vs Sebastian Baez prediction
Brandon Nakashima is enjoying an outstanding recent run which has seen him reach the final in Montreal and the last four in Cincinnati, each of the last two major ATP tour events on hard court, serving has tune-ups for the US Open. The 16th seed from San Diego now looks to make it further than he ever has before at Queens and is well-placed to do just that.
He’s been handed a difficult first-round draw however, with Sebastian Baez on deck. A former top 20 player, Baez is trying to break back into the top 50 and was a first-round exit at the US Open last year. Baez has been playing good tennis himself of late, making the final in Cancun but it’s hard to look beyond USA star Nakashima on recent performances.
