Brandon Nakashima vs Marton Fucsovics prediction
Brandon Nakashima is set to make his first appearance on grass this season. He advanced to the third-round of Roland Garros last time out. Nakashima had his opportunities against Felix Auger-Aliassime, as he went ahead after the first set and also was a break up in sets three and four, but Auger-Aliassime would fight back to win. Nakashima’s best result of the season so far was a run to the final of the Brisbane International back in January.
He takes on Marton Fucsovics at Queen’s Club. The Hungarian began his grass court season at the Libema Open last week. He won his first-round match as he came from a set down to beat Hubert Hurkacz, before a defeat in the next round to Auger-Aliassime.
Nakashima leads the ATP head-to-head 1-0, as he beat Fucsovics at the Japan Open last year. Both players serve well on this surface, and while Nakashima is the favourite and has the more reliable grass court game at this stage of his career, Fucsovics remains an awkward opponent on the surface.
