Brandon Nakashima vs Kamil Majchrzak prediction

Brandon Nakashima’s Asian swing has been solid up to this point. He got through to the semi-finals in Chengdu, where he lost to Alejandro Tabilo despite being the favourite. He then won his first two matches in Tokyo to make the quarter-finals, where he lost to an inspired Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets. Nakashima is yet to make a final this year, but has reached the semi-finals of three events and is closing in on the top 30 of the world rankings.

Kamil Majchrzak will be his opponent in the second-round. The Pole strolled to a comfortable victory in round one as he beat Ethan Quinn 6-3 6-4. He won 81% of his first serve points and did not even concede a break point.

This will be their first match against each other on a hard court, but Nakashima leads the head-to-head 1-0 after a win at the Italian Open three years ago. This could be close, but the American’s consistent game should provide him with enough opportunities to get the victory.
