Brandon Nakashima vs Francisco Cerundolo prediction
Brandon Nakashima continued his strong week at Queen’s Club as he beat top seed and 2023 finalist Alex de Minaur in straight sets to advance to the semi-finals. Nakashima saved both breaks points he offered up and produced a solid all-round performance, while De Minaur made a number of errors. The American won 7-5 6-3 and is now just one match away from a second final of the season.
He will face Francisco Cerundolo next. The Argentine was tested by British wildcard Arthur Fery but was able to make it through to the last four. Cerundolo was a break down at the start of the decider but found a way to get the job done as he won 7-6 (1) 3-6 6-4. This is a second semi-final on grass for Cerundolo, who won the Eastbourne title back in 2023.
Nakashima has been very solid so far this week and is yet to drop a set across his three matches. Cerundolo will need to put in a more consistent display if he is to get the better of his opponent.
