Brandon Nakashima vs Ethan Quinn prediction

Brandon Nakashima’s form has been steady over the past two months or so. He has reached the quarter-finals in three of the last four events he’s competed in, while he was just a set away from matching his best result at Wimbledon. His summer hard court swing started in a positive fashion as he won his first two matches in straight sets, reaching the last eight but ultimately going down to eventual winner Alex de Minaur 6-4 6-4.

Ethan Quinn will be his opponent after the world number 86 defeated Yoshihito Nishioka in round one. Quinn edged a tight first set and dominated the second as he wrapped up a 7-6 6-2 win without losing his serve and winning 88% of his first serve points.

These two met for the first time just last week, with Nakashima defeating Quinn 6-3 6-4 in the second-round of Washington. The conditions will be similar in Toronto and Nakashima will be a clear favourite to win again.
