Brandon Nakashima vs Alejandro Tabilo prediction

Alejandro Tabilo made it nine wins from his last 10 matches to reach the last four in Chengdu. 

The Chilean fought back to defeat Chris O’Connell 4-6 7-5 6-2 and continue a late resurgence following a difficult 2025 overall. 

The qualifier will now face fourth seed Brandon Nakashima for a place in the final.

The American fourth seed just about edged past his compatriot Marcos Giron 6-3 2-6 7-6 in a clash that could have gone either way. 

This will be their third meeting with both previous matches going the distance with a win apiece. 

There may be 79 places between them in the rankings but world number 112 Tabilo is playing more like his old self at present so don’t be fooled by their current placing on the ATP ladder. 

The South American certainly has the potential to spring the surprise and the market for it going three is also worth considering.
