Anderson Silva (2-1) will continue his boxing career with a bout against Tito Ortiz in a fight that the Brazilian will be confident of winning. The 46-year-old made it back-to-back wins in the ring thanks to overcoming Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. back in June, prevailing thanks to a split decision. Silva showed some good signs in that clash and can build on that to make it three straight wins.
Tito Ortiz (0-0) will make his debut in the boxing ring after a solid MMA career in which he won 21 of 34 fights. It remains to be seen how effectively he will transfer his skills into the boxing ring but he is at least coming up against an opponent that is the same age and also has limited boxing experience.

MMA stars Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz do battle here but not in the octagon with the pair meeting in the boxing ring. Silva already has a couple of wins under his belt in this field and looked impressive against a seasoned opponent last time out. That experience should stand him in good stead here and the Brazilian can make it a disappointing debut for Ortiz.
