Botic van de Zandschulp advanced through to his first final of the season after getting past Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in straight sets. The Dutchman comfortably took the first set and made a fine comeback in the second, reeling off five straight games from 5-2 down to win 6-4 7-5. He was very solid on serve, winning 80% of his first serve points.

He will now take on Marton Fucsovics. Fucsovics was handed a walkover as his semi-final opponent Sebastian Korda withdrew from the tournament before their match was due to take place. The American was making his return this week after nearly three months away from the tour due to a shin injury.

Van de Zandschulp leads the head-to-head 2-1, though Fucsovics won their only meeting on outdoor hard court. Their last meeting was in Monte-Carlo last year, with Van de Zandschulp coming from a set down to win.
