Botic van de Zandschulp has only competed in clay court events post-Wimbledon, with his best result coming in Kitzbuhel as he reached the semi-finals before a loss to eventual winner Alexander Bublik. That stands as his best result of the season, though he did make the quarter-finals of a Challenger event in Hagen last time out. 

Adam Walton continues to make strides in recent weeks as he prepares for this event. The Australian reached the semi-finals of the Los Cabos Open last month and performed well against Alexander Zverev in the second-round of the Canadian Open, losing 7-6 6-4. Walton then picked up the finest win of his career so far in Cincinnati as he upset former world number one Daniil Medvedev in round two, before going down to Jiri Lehecka. 

Walton is clearly on an upwards trajectory and will fancy his chances against Van de Zandschulp in the opening round here. We think he’s good value to win against the Dutchman.
