Bianca Andreescu vs Dalma Galfi prediction

Bianca Andreescu makes her first start on the WTA Tour this season in Austin. She has competed at lower-level events so far in 2026, and her record currently stands at 13 wins and just the one defeat from 14 matches. The Canadian has won two tournaments in Bradenton and Vero Beach, while also getting through to the semi-finals of an event in Weston. The former US Open champion has struggled with injuries in the past but will take plenty of confidence from her recent displays.

Dalma Galfi does have some form heading into this event, having reached the quarter-finals in Oeiras. She had lost her three previous matches before that tournament, and she is currently ranked 87 in the world.

They have faced each other on one previous occasion, with Andreescu beating Galfi in straight sets in the semi-finals of the 2024 Libema Open. Andreescu will look to transition her fine form onto the WTA Tour, and that would start with a win here.
