Bernard Tomic advanced to the round-of-16 at the Los Cabos Open as he thrashed Juan Alejandro Hernandez in straight sets. The Australian required just 46 minutes as he dismantled the Hernandez serve, winning 6-1 6-0. Tomic did not concede a break point and fired down 13 aces on his way to victory. This was his first win on the ATP Tour this season.
He is now set to face Karen Khachanov, who received a bye in round one.
