Benjamin Bonzi vs Quentin Halys prediction

Benjamin Bonzi advanced to the next round of the Winston-Salem Open after a straight sets win over Kamil Majchrzak. The Frenchman was 4-1 down in the first set but reeled off five straight games to take the lead. He was pegged back after going a break up in the second, and also had to save a set point in the subsequent tiebreak, but he did seal a 6-4 7-6 (7) win after one hour and 48 minutes.

He now takes on fellow countryman Quentin Halys. The 29-year-old has enjoyed his best run for quite some time as he won his first tour-level event in Kitzbuhel last month and then qualified for the Cincinnati Open, extending his winning run to eight matches after a straight sets win over Vit Kopriva in the first-round. He fought hard against Alex de Minaur in round two, losing in a deciding set tiebreak.

Halys leads the head-to-head 5-2 and 3-1 on outdoor hard court. He has to be regarded as the favourite to win, based on recent form.
