It was only back on August 28th of last month that these two clashed back at the Winston Salem Open, with Ignacio Buse emerging victorious against Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. The two are set for a rematch with significantly more at stake, specifically a place in the US Open third round. Playing five sets instead of three, it will be fascinating to see who has adapted better.

When Buse got on top of Bonzi last time out, he was in full control and Bonzi couldn’t get back into it. However, the latter showed enough in the second set to prove that he can go toe-to-toe with Buse. The big doubt though is whether Bonzi could do that over the course of five sets.
