THE PREDICTION
First blood went to Olympiacos in the opening game as they overcame Monaco 71-54 to register their first playoff win in four years. In front of a sellout crowd at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, the atmosphere was buoyant. Despite falling behind early, they responded in impressive style to bounce back and grab the win which will give them huge confidence in this series. The matchup between Thomas Walkup and Mike James will be key once again although it is hard to see Monaco's key man James being limited to just 10 points for a second game in a row. Monaco should improve and push the hosts closer here but it is still hard to see past the Greeks here.
