Aryna Sabalenka will be eyeing a fourth straight success against Naomi Osaka in 2026.
The Belarusian booked her spot in the round of 16 with a 6-4 6-4 win over Jelena Ostapenko and will meet the Japanese for a fifth time overall.
Osaka has not beaten the top seed since 2018 and trails 3-1 in the head-to-head, but she continues to improve this year and has just reached this stage in SW19 for the very first time.
