Aryna Sabalenka vs Marta Kostyuk prediction
World number one Aryna Sabalenka continued her strong start to the season as she defeated Karolina Muchova in straight sets to make her third consecutive final in Brisbane. Muchova had beaten Elena Rybakina in the previous round and defeated Sabalenka in their last three meetings, but the four-time Grand Slam champion was in supreme form, producing a first serve percentage of 88% and not dropping serve as she won 6-3 6-4.
She takes on Marta Kostyuk next. The Ukrainian continued her fantastic run at the tournament as she swept aside Jessica Pegula in straight sets. Kostyuk was without a victory over a top 10 opponent in over 11 months before the event, but has beaten Amanda Anisimova, Mirra Andreeva and Pegula to make it through to the final here. She made a storming start and did not look back, winning 6-0 6-3 after just 55 minutes.
Sabalenka dominates the head-to-head, leading 4-0 without the drop of a set. Kostyuk has enjoyed an incredible run up to now but raising her game and defeating Sabalenka looks a daunting task.
