World number one Aryna Sabalenka produced a strong display in the round-of-16 to end Victoria Mboko’s run in Melbourne. She made a brilliant start to the match and took the first set with ease. Jovic won the first 10 games of the match as she won 6-0 6-1 after just 53 minutes.
Neither player is yet to drop a set so far, and Jovic has performed magnificently to get this far, but Sabalenka has such a strong record at this event in recent years and will be the clear favourite to get through.
