Aryna Sabalenka returns to court for the first time since her French Open meltdown.
The world number one allowed a commanding lead to slip as she fell apart in the quarter-finals at Roland-Garros, but will now aim to put it behind her on grass.
The top seed takes on Ekaterina Alexandrova for the ninth time after the Russian progressed when Anastasia Potapova retired trailing 6-1 in their first round encounter.
The head-to-head is surprisingly level at 4-4 with one win apiece on grass.
That said, much of that rivalry was prior to Sabalenka hitting new heights on tour and Alexandrova is also struggling for form of late.
We don’t see her making enough impression here and expect Aryna to get her reset underway with the minimum of fuss.
